DAY 01
Arrival in Catania | Street Food and a Volcanic City
Begin in Catania after you arrive, easing into Sicily’s rhythm through markets, piazzas, and local tables. This is an unhurried day—focused on the lived-in atmosphere of a city built from volcanic stone.

DAY 02

Spend the morning in the old-city memories of Syracuse and Ortigia, then head to Noto in the afternoon for its honey-colored Baroque streetscapes. With sea breeze, old towns, sweets, and sunset, this day shows Sicily at its gentlest.

DAY 03
Taormina Mount Etna | A Seaside Town and Volcanic Terroir
In the morning, enjoy Taormina’s sea-view lanes and ancient theater, then head to Mount Etna in the afternoon. In one day, you’ll see Sicily’s coast, theater, lava, and volcanic terroir.
- Walk Taormina’s old town, the Ancient Greek Theatre, and sea-view streets.
- A viewpoint over Isola Bella or a coastal scenic stop.
- Mount Etna’s south slope experience, with an easy hike or crater viewpoints.
- Cable car, snowcat, helicopter, or a chef-led cooking class can be added as optional upgrades.
DAY 04
Caltagirone, the Roman Villa Agrigento
After leaving the east coast, travel from a colorful ceramics town and Roman mosaics to the temples of ancient Greece. Arrive in Agrigento by evening, with sunset in the Valley of the Temples as a highlight.

This day is for Palermo. From markets and palaces to churches and theaters, you’ll see a Sicilian capital with stories, scars, and extraordinary vitality.
- Ballarò Market and street food.
- The Norman Palace and the Palatine Chapel.
- Palermo Cathedral, Quattro Canti, the Church of the Gesù, or free time for shopping.
- Teatro Massimo, with a visit or performance depending on timing.
- If time allows, relax by the sea in Mondello.
DAY 07
Cefalù | A Seaside Finale
On the final day, give the time back to a seaside town. With its old town, cathedral, beach, and Fisherman’s Gate, Cefalù is the loop’s gentlest—and most memorable—ending.
- Travel from Palermo to Cefalù, enjoying north-coast sea views along the way.
